"All in the valley of Death/ Rode the six hundred..."

I've spent the last the three weeks in the hospital. During that time I noticed that the hospital had a very strict regime. The substitute nurse got her rules from the head nurse. The head nurse got her rules from her supervisor. If somebody higher up changes the rules, the nurses sometimes do not comply.
It reminds me of the poem “The Charge of the Light Brigade” (Alfred Lord Tennyson). Bad leadership. Those soldiers took orders indiscriminately.
I think the hospital regime is quite dangerous.
